• ‘content sponsor’ refers to a company that supplied content or co-creates content with CLT Media;

• ‘the site’ means the MVNO Nation website you are visiting or engaging with; and
• ‘you’ and ‘your’ means you, the person engaging with us, registering for our events or services or visiting our site.
We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits the site and will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law.

Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy is deemed to occur upon your first use of the site or you will be required to read and accept this Privacy Policy when signing up for an Account. Please note that we have no control over how your data is collected, stored, or used by other websites and we advise you to check the privacy policies of any such websites before providing any data to them.

7. How Do You Use My Personal Data?
Provision of your data to our Content Sponsors.
We hope you will support us in maintaining our content business by consenting to our use of your personal data as described below.
Our services are paid for by sponsor(s) (“Sponsors”) in exchange for us providing them with access to information about who reads/views their content. Once personal data is transferred to our Sponsor or Exhibitor they become a data controller of this personal data. They use it to measure the response that their content is receiving, as a form of market research. They may also use it to provide MVNO Nation users with information about their products and services.
Details of each Sponsor to which your personal data may be transferred is clearly stated within the partners section of the content that you are able to view before you access the applicable Content. Sponsor may be located within or outside the EEA. For full details of how this Sponsor will use your personal data, you should review their own Privacy Notice.
We believe we continue to have a legitimate interest in providing your information to the Sponsor(s) whose content you access, and that the Sponsor(s) continue to have a legitimate interest in receiving this personal data. Users may opt-out at any time by amending the settings in their profile or by contacting Us at the contact details set out below.
Event and Exhibition Management
If you have agreed to participate in one of our events as a speaker, sponsor, exhibitor or attendee, personal information is used in connection with the running of the event, to handle payments or for other purposes, as is necessary for the performance of the contract entered into. We will also use personal information to maintain our databases, assess your qualities as a speaker, attendee or sponsor/exhibitor, promote events and encourage further engagement at our events, as part of the legitimate interests we have as a commercial organisation. We may share your personal information with event Sponsors and Exhibitors.
Event Sponsors and Exhibitors may follow up and contact you about their products and services. You can opt-out of receiving these messages at any time by clicking unsubscribe or contacting Us at the contact details set out below.
In addition, we sometimes take photos and videos at our events, which may feature attendees, speakers, sponsors or exhibitors. Where photos and videos are taken that feature you as an attendee, sponsor or exhibitor, we may use those photos and videos for promotional purposes.
Categories of information we collect about you when attending an event include: Information you provide us when registering your attendance such as name, business email address, phone number, job title, company name, the country you are based in and professional interests.
We use this information for certain activities, including: Enabling you to attend our events; Facilitating the smooth running of events; Analysing attendee interests in and interactions with the event through geo-location data (in certain cases); Marketing our events through the use of video; Providing recordings of certain event sessions to interested business contacts, and attendees and online through our website or our social media sites.
We use this information because It is necessary for performing our obligations, or exercising our rights, under our contracts with clients; It is necessary for compliance with any legal or regulatory obligations; We have a legitimate business interest to: manage and promote our business and brand; Operate our events business; Provide and improve our services;
Collect relevant information for hospitality and health and safety purposes; You have consented by providing us with the information
Product enquiries, sales and administration.
As part of a purchase, product enquiry, request for information and for account administration, we collect information such as your name, country, job title, company information or academic affiliation, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number.
If you have made an enquiry about us or our products or services, either online or over the phone, we will use your personal information to respond to the enquiry or to take other steps at your request, before you enter into a contract. For example, we collect the e-mail addresses and additional contact details of those who send e-mails to request information. Where a sales representative speaks to you over the phone, the calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes only.
If you have registered for or purchased a product or services, including on a trial basis, your personal information will be used to provide that product or service, communicate about it and handle payments, as is necessary for the performance of the contract entered into with us.
For purchases, payment information, including credit/debit card number/bank details and billing addresses is also collected.
Where payment card processors are used to facilitate payment card transactions on our websites, your data will be collected and used according to that data processor’s privacy policy.
If your personal information is relevant to certain products and is freely available through public sources, such as on a website related to your work or profession, we may use this personal information for providing customers with our products, as is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests as a commercial organisation.
Where one of our sales representatives speaks to you over the phone, the calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes only.
Our own use of your personal data.
Under the GDPR, we must always have a lawful basis for using personal data. This may be because the data is necessary for our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data, or because it is in our legitimate business interests to use it. 8. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?
We will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. We will hold onto the information you provide either while your account is in existence, or as needed to be able to provide the Services to you, or (in the case of any contact you may have with our Customer Care team) for as long as is necessary to provide support-related reporting and trend analysis only.
If legally required or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms and Conditions, we may also retain some of your information for a limited period of time as required, even after you have closed your account, or it is no longer needed to provide the Services to you.
